Show #01.

This is Idiot Prayer's first ever gig, a pint night at Re:Fuel in Dunedin, New Zealand. We played the middle slot, after the George Kay Experience and before TFF. It was the first time we had heard the words to any of the songs (we always practiced as an instrumental band), and hence some of the song names are under their working titles (i.e. we hadn't changed them yet).

The original liner notes are as follows:

Balls ups, sideways glances and raised eyebrows, these
are the things debut gigs are made of. With the George
Kay Experience kicking the night off and TFF ending it we
were certainly in good company at Re:Fuels’s weekly pint night (no longer allowed to be called that, though) and
with little pressure to perform we were suitably
inauspicious. Rob Falconer gets much love from us for generously offering to do sound, and then recording
us at Albany Street Studios a couple of weeks after.
Amongst the beer drinking there were some positive
comments passed, and we appreciated it. And big, big love
to Scott Muir, Karen Mclean and Peet Pholi as always.
